Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location was nice being close to Georgetown, but the lack of a microwave or small fridge in the rooms was inconvenient for my family of four. The staff was friendly but struggled with the Marriott and SPG conversion. The dining was average and the breakfast could have been better.
The hotel had decent rooms, but a bit overpriced for what we got. It smelled like cigarettes, and I wish they were a bit more spacious to fit my group comfortably. Despite this, the staff was attentive and efficient. The service was overall great with friendly and super helpful staff. They even allowed us to check in early due to our flight's early arrival. However, they had to take some cost-cutting measures to compensate for an inconvenience we faced. The location was convenient with easy access to the metro and DC, although it could use a bit of remodeling. It was great for attending events and within walking distance of Georgetown nightlife. The hotel is not pretentious but could use some upgrades. The dining options were limited and not suitable for Vegetarians, lacking variety even for simple items like a hash brown. The room service was warm but not hot. The facilities were standard without any frills.
The hotel had a great location, close to the Mall and overlooking the roof of the swimming pool. The rooms were fairly small for 2 queen beds and in sad shape, with missing closet doors, creating a somewhat depressing atmosphere. The hallway to the elevator was a bit strange, but the staff was very courteous and helpful.
